Starting today, October 6th, the hunt for the first Key begins. Bits everywhere are encouraged to create the ideal Halloween reflection of their Bit utilizing the template provided and post it on Twitter, tagging the official @eightbit account and using the hashtag #eightbitoctober. Your Bit should be drawn within the frame of the Mirror itself, and it can be as creative as you’d like! On one of our upcoming spaces, one lucky winner will be selected to receive one of the first Keys when they drop!

#EightBitOctober is going to include quite a few competitions and games over the next month with some great prizes as rewards as we work to get some early Keys into the hands of deserving community members, so make sure to get involved! We are happy to announce that the awesome artwork for our Pumpkin Perks have arrived just in time for #EightBitOctober! We’ve collaborated with @PlantHER0 on these terrific 3D printed custom Bit figures perfect for your desk or bookshelf. We will be reaching out to the Bits who own the Pumpkin Perk so that you can receive them ASAP!
As mentioned during our last spaces, we’ve started to send out eGift cards to those who claimed their perk rewards on our official site. All Bits who designated either the California or Florida parks should be receiving their gift card by the end of the day in their e-mail.
If you’re an international park attendee, please hang tight for more details as we figure out the best way to deliver on these for you!
As mentioned last week, we placed an order through a design shop for an amazing work of art comprised of 576 individual pixelated wooden pieces. It should be arriving within the next couple of weeks, at which point Addison will be setting up a professional photo shoot of it in all of its glory. At that point, the artwork will be shipped off to our lucky Art perk holder!
Yesterday, patches went out to EightBit holders who attended the Hangzhou meetup. We have been getting a lot of questions lately as to how you can qualify for a patch if you’re meeting up with fellow holders, so if you are planning something, please make sure to reach out to us so that we can help amplify!
