Greetings Bits! Today we have a slew of quality of life improvements and enhancements ready for you. Progress on our next big ticket item, titled “Magic Mirror”, a new contract that will allow you to customize your Bit on-chain without affecting original metadata and rarity rankings, is progressing apace and we are very excited to share more details soon.

We’ve added some really fun sound effects and music to the Loot Case Unpacking Experience. If you haven’t opened your Loot Cases yet now is the perfect time to do it! Experience the thrilling suspense of the case floating in the air, the heart pounding rush of it falling to the ground, and the dopamine fueled high of your Case bursting open with awesome Loot.
Music and sound effects are muted by default. You can enable them by toggling them on before or during the Unpacking Experience. Your preferences will be saved across sessions, so if you toggle them on they will start enabled on your next visit.
To make it easier to see which Bits you’ve already customized, we’ve added a ‘Show Custom’ toggle on the Inventory → Bits page. Toggle it on to see your Bits with their equipped Loot or customized Traits and toggle it off to see your Bit with their on-chain traits.
Sorting through your growing collection of Traits inside of the Builder just got a whole lot easier. Now you’ll see the trait names instead of rarities inside of the Builder trait previews.
It was a shame to hide all of these cool names from everybody.
