We are excited to finally announce the beginning of EightBit Loot: Season 1! Season 1 introduces hundreds of exciting new items to collect and equip including a never before seen trait: Hand Items! Loot items are completely separate NFTs with differing rarities that can be traded, bought, and sold. In a future update you’ll be able to equip your Bit with these items off-chain and eventually our goal is to allow you to equip them on-chain but without altering the original Bit’s traits. Stay tuned for updates on this.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we navigated this launch. Starting now, you’re finally able to unpack your Loot Cases directly on the EightBit.me website. Head to https://www.eightbit.me/ and make sure your wallet is connected, and then head over to the brand new Inventory page!
On the inventory/cases page, click on Open and then select the amount of Cases you want to unpack at once. Currently we cap this at 20 Cases per transaction while we observe the gas limits and fees. We may reduce or increase this cap in the future.
Once you’ve selected the amount you want to open, you’ll be prompted with a transaction in your wallet. This “unpack” transaction will cost gas as it is modifying the state of the blockchain. Approve the transaction, ensuring the contract address matches the official EightBit Loot address, and then watch as your Loot Case falls to the sky and bursts open! The Loot Items you receive are completely new NFTs for you to sell, trade, or buy.
